Modern Man in Search of a Soul xxxxx .
C. G. Jung .
Review.
For those seeking an overview to the work of C. G. Jung — particularly his observations on culture, and an understanding of the place of his theories within our broader culture — this is a fascinating introduction. Modern Man in Search of a Soul is not a particularly imaginal work, but it can be a helpful Jungian read, especially in tandem with books like Bair’s Jung: A Biography. (For a more imaginal introduction to Jung, we recommend Memories, Dreams, Reflections).
This book includes a series of eleven essays including: The Stages of Life, Freud and Jung—Contrasts, The Basic Postulates of Analytical Psychology, and The Spiritual Problem of Modern Man.
